|Title:||Chapters Program Manager|
|Location:||College Park, MD|
At the American Physical Society, we support the physics community and a large network of science professionals. We’re looking for a new Chapters Program Manager to pioneer new programs to support physics students and recent graduates, and help to ensure a bright future for the field of physics.
As the new APS Chapters Program Manager, you’ll develop and execute new chapter-based programs that support physics graduate students, post-doctoral students, and early-career physics professionals. Through research and consultations with various universities, national labs, and other constituencies, you’ll pilot an initial set of 5-10 APS chapters, develop rubrics and milestones to measure chapter success, and work with APS staff and constituents to adjust activities to maximize program impact. Additionally, you’ll document and organize materials to support each chapter, write articles, progress reports, proposals, and manage project budgets.
